Lost Work
Previous work on a crate, dice can of drink and bottle of wine has been lost. It says my file is unable to open and it is properly corrupted. i do not know how as i have opened it up before without editing and closed it fine until now. i am currently remaking all of these now.

Players
Both my players are fully functional. Both players can now move and look independently. With my player 2 look i wrongly thought the negative key i set in my input would make the character look the other way. When i realized this was not true i set up a second set of look for player 2. now player one uses the arrow keys numeral pad 0 and the mouse for look movement and jump while player 2 uses wasd the space bar to move and jump and the keys ijkl to look.

Canvas
I have learned about Canvases and buttons. i can now use these elements to make a functioning menu system.I have then moved on to make a card match game. the card randomize them selves and you click on one (which then becomes un-clickable) then you click on another. if they match they stay face up if not they switch back. once all matches are found a you win message displays.
Progress on Players
I have realized why i couldn't control my player 2 look movements wit keys and i have sorted it out. due to an oversight its look function was set to the mouse (which is player 1) i Also ha to add a second set of keys to controller the camera because the look function es not work with the negative keys. Now players can look around independently.
Now i have this set i can choose to add a controller for player 2 later but if i have no time i have this set up.

Testing videos
As you may have noticed a fet post back there are blank spaes. these use to contain videos. i do not know why but they are no longer there. so i have added them to my youtube account. From now on i will try to upload my videos straight to youtube.

Testing gun proto
I have designed a prototype ramp for my game and have put it into my game. Although i can have sorted it so it now can be walked up if i fire a bullet at it it passes straight though. adding rigid-bodies just make the ramp fall though the floor.

Menu
This is how i would like my menu and game play to work.
It will start off on the title screen (after the splash screen) and from there you can go start tutorial options. each choice can lead back to the menu or start the game. i start the players would pick a level an play. This also has a pause menu and shows what happens at the end of the game.

Fixed Code
I could not find a problem with my code. However using a different computer it then showed my error. I used a site piazza to communicate with my course mates and received some help. My code didn't work because the new interface controls i created had the addition pf PLY 2 after the commands horizontal, vertical and jump. in my code however there were PL2. Once i sorted this out i cleaned my code up slightly so it was more efficient.
Textures
I have been going more in depth with textures. i have used a cube and have placed different textures on each face.
Mapping
I had the challenge of using mapping. I had a general texture for all my shapes and i modified the mapping to the texture was consistent on the shapes.
House design
this is a design form when i first used 3ds max. I belie i have improved since this. I know now how to use one block to make the shapes i used many to make.

Prototype
Ths week i showed the prototype of my game. he game i am currently making is a co-op 2 player game where you help each other get past the obstetrical and get to the end.
to start off i fogot to remove rigid-bodies from my cubes/platforms so the first player fell ofmy platforms. I have to alos put mu charecters on the right side acording to keys. a ain thing i have to do is set up so the look for both charcters are nor relient on the mouse and to parent my players to the platform when moving.

Problems with code
I Am hving problems with my code. Although visual studios sees no erros in the code unity does not like what us happening. becaus of this i can not chane or add cose anywhere else or test my game. this is how it looks so far.

Testing
This ois some smalll thing we have done. It is pulling a block, throwing it. using the same basic mecnaics as andry birds. The pauses are due to my computer bein slow.

CO-OP Game
I am Designing a co op game where you and another player have to solve puzzles/ work together to get tho the end. for example one player has to push a button to make the platform move or one player has to move objects whole the other crosses them.
This game will be designed so that one player can not complete it on thee own. I will design it so you have to play together.

Gun Proto
I have the Prototype idea for my gun. I believe for the different guns I ca have them different colors. I will Probably change the Color of the Spheres.
Game idea
I have decided to make a Vs shooter Game where you play against the other player shooting the other with bullets/balls to score points.
If you hit the main body you get 5 while if you hit the opponent head you get 10. this will be timed and the opponent with the highest score at the end wins. Also If you hit the head you can leave your opponent with a stunned effect which will leave them immobile for 10 seconds (although once stunned they cant be hit in the head again)
One aspect is that befor the timer starts yochoose your gun. there will be 3 vailable and each will have a one good thing one bad about it for example, one can be good at long distance fireing (good velocity) but is delayed in betwwen so you cant rappid fire. Once you pick up a gun you can not swap.
Theere will also be a limit to ammo. in the area there wll be a maximium of 20 bullets and a player can only hold 15 at a time. This means while there will always be ammo you have to be careful of how you spend it.
As for level designthere are going to be slopes and tueels for players to soot around and hide/run from the opponent.
During the game there may be point booste (eg hit the target get __ points)
For time limit i was thinking somewhere between 3-5 minutes because too short and the players will not get into the game and too long the player will become borded.
